The Great Adventure

“We are in a very special situation, extremely special, without precedent. We
are now witnessing the birth of a new world; it is very young, very weak -
not in its essence but in its outer manifestation - not yet recognised, not even
felt, denied by the majority. But it is here. It is here, making an effort to
grow, absolutely sure of the result. But the road to it is a completely new
road which has never before been traced out - nobody has gone there,
nobody has done that! It is a beginning, a universal beginning. So it is an
absolutely unexpected and unpredicatable adventure. There are people who
love adventure. It is these I call, and I tell them this: "I invite you to the great
adventure." It is not a question of repeating spiritually what others have
done before us, for our adventure begins beyond that. It is a question of a
new creation, entirely new, with all the unforeseen events, the risks, the
hazards it entails - a real adventure , whose goal is certain victory, but the
road to which is unknown and must be traced out step by step in the
unexplored. Something that has never been in this present universe and that
will never be again in the same way. If that interests you... well, let us
embark. What will happen to you tomorrow - I have no idea. One must put
aside all that has been foreseen, all that has been devised, all that has been
constructed, and then.. set off walking into the unknown. And - come what
may! There.” The Mother
Or either

“ The children should be helped to grow up into straightforward ,frank, upright and
honourable human beings ready to develop into Divine nature.”

DAY 03 - June 12

Morning event – Ascend To Truth ( group interactive session )

but the consistent expression of psychic truth, of a direct experience ‘that passes all
the argument of the earth.’ Only a rare few have hit upon this adventure; they are the
pioneers of the spirit’s ways

Afternoon event – Local art and culture

“All Indian art is a throwing out of a certain profound self-vision formed by
a going within to find out the secret significance of form and appearance, a
discovery of the subject in one's deeper self, the giving of soul-form to that
vision and a remoulding of the material and natural shape to express the
psychic truth of it with the greatest possible purity and power of outline and
the greatest possible concentrated rhythmic unity of significance in all the
parts of an indivisible artistic whole.”

Evening event – The Psychic and The Truth

Speakers –

DAY 04 - June 13

Morning event – Role of an Ideal Child in today’s world
( trekking and excursion)

“To do something for the Lord is to give Him something of what one has, or of what
one does, or of what one is. That is to say, to offer to Him one part of our goods or all
of our possessions, to consecrate to Him one part of our work or all our activities, or
to give ourselves to Him totally and without reserve so that He may take possession of
our nature in order to transform and divinise it....”
-17 August 1960

The camp will be inaugurated by a cross country 4 km run with “ flame of aspiration “ and
the flame will be installed at Matrupuri. The camp will be for 4 nights and 5 days.
Only the participants and organisers will run and carry the “flame of aspiration” wearing the
t-shirt which will be given to them with spiritual logo.
The campers should bring with them white shorts, white half shirt and white converse.
The campers should be mentally prepared to face hardships and be ready to take up
challenges, although every attempt will be made to extend the maximum possible amenities
.
The themes of the camp will be “rediscovering oneself” , “ascend to truth “ and “the ideal
child. “ all the participants will partake with discussions and at the end , the whole
discussion will be synthesized in the light of The Mother and Sri Aurobindo.
The youth are the messengers of strength and vitality. Let us unite for the sake of The
Mother and Sri Aurobindo and let us wake up and become a little more conscious inwardly .
The objective of the camp will be to re-orient the teenagers and help them grow physically
stronger , vitally more refined, mentally aware of themselves and spiritually open to the
grace of The Mother and Sri Aurobindo.
The camp shall be organized by the campers themselves with external ( financial support
from well wishers) the elderly so-called organisers will supervise the minute to minute
conduct of the camp and will eventually suggest the loop-holes which shall be noticed for
future rectifications.
All steps will be taken to re-conduct the camp every year in different remote locations or
may be in Risida itself.
We have plunged unknowingly. What is going to happen to-morrow, but by the grace of The
Mother we are sure to grow in number over a short period. “with certitude we shall march”
Victoire a la Douce Mere, Vande Mataram.
