SINCE LONG WE ARE STRIVING TO DO SOMETHING - A SOMETHING WHICH SHOULD BE DIFFERENT FROM ALL OTHER THINGS. IN SIMPLE WORDS WE WOULD LIKE TO BE DIFFERENT FROM WHAT THE NORMAL MASS DOES. NO BEATEN TRACKS TO FOLLOW ,NO FIXED PATH TO TRAVEL BY. WE WOULD LIKE TO FOLLOW THE NEWER ADVENTUROUS PATHS IN A SPONTANEITY. NO MATTER HOW DIFFICULT THE ROADS MAY BE WE WILL MARCH ON WITH THE BELOVED MOTHER BESIDES US.WE WILL DRINK LIFE TO THE LEES AND SHALL NEVER YIELD.WE WISH TO FATHOM THE DEPTHS OF THE SEA, WE DESIRE SECRETLY TO FLY IN THE BLUE SKY, WE SEEK TO EMBRACE THE VASTNESS OF THE 4TH DIMENSIONAL SPACE.WE ARE AFTER ALL BRAVE WARRIORS OF THE DIVINE MOTHER,THEN FEAR WHOM? FEAR WHAT? FEAR WHY? FEAR WHEN?

WE THE LIKE-MINDED WARRIORS OF THE MOTHER UNITE IN RISIDA TO WORK OUT A KIND OF EXPERIMENTATION. LEARNING BY IDENTIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE. A RE-DISCOVERING OF OUR TRUE SELF.WE MUST ASPIRE COLLECTIVELY TO DO SOMETHING FOR OURSELVES AND FOR OUR SURROUNDINGS. WE HAVE A TASK . WE MUST PROVE WE ARE CAPABLE OF TRUELY UNDERSTANDING OURSELVES.THE WORLD GOES ON IN ITS OWN WAYS BUT WE WILL GO ON WITH THE GRACE OF THE MOTHER.

THIS EXPERIMENTAL CAMP IS PROPOSED TO ORGANIZE OURSELVES INDEPENDENTLY AND TO START A YOUTH MOVEMENT AS ENVISAGED BY OUR SWEET MOTHER. LET US LEARN WHILE WE PLAY, AND PLAY WHILE WE WORK,WE HAVE MANY PROMISES TO KEEP AND MANY MILES TO RUN.

WE WISH TO BE THE INSTRUMENTS OF THE MOTHER. WE WILL CREATE OUR OWN ENVIRONMENT.

MATRUPURI

Matrupuri, the Abode of The Mother, a multi-purpose organisation is the brain –child of Sri Madhusudan Mishra, who lives now in Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry. It was established in the foot hill of Bhaludunguri ( means a hill of bears) in a picturesque surrounding in May 1968 with the blessings of The Mother. The Mother has approved all the projects of this organization. A symbolic Samadhi of Sri Aurobindo was erected at the top of the Bhaludunguri. Regular mela (fair) was organized regularly since then. But the paucity of fund hindered the flourish of petals. However, the organization has tried a lot to grow. An Integral Education Center has been established. The future plan is to establish the Institute of Sri Aurobindo’s Higher Education & Research. There is a plan to install Sri Aurobindo’s Sacred Relics as soon as possible. The Plan of the Matrimandir has been approved by The Mother. The future of the Matrupuri lies in the Grace of the Divine Mother.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES :

1. To reorient the youths in the light of Mother and Sri Aurobindo.

2. To rediscover oneself.

3. To remind us about our aims of life.

The camp envisages in an all India basis so that the youths can feel the culture of the remote place and live and assimilate the great heritage of our culture as well as sharpen our inner potentialities. Each one of us must become an engine and not be a wagon. We should pull ourselves and not be pulled by the currents of the world.

ABOUT RISIDA

Risida is located in the Karlamunda block of Kalahandi district, Odisha. It is under Madanpur Rampur Police Station. This place coordinates 20°23'21"N 83°29'13"E . Risida is well connected with different parts by roadways and frequent buses are plying to and from Bhawanipatna, M.Rampur, Kesinga, Balangir, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Baliguda, Titilagarh, etc. Risida is 42 kms. From Kesinga, 50 kms. From Balangir, 60 kms. From Narala Road rail stations of the East Coast Railways(Eco. Railways). Risida is a rurban cluster of three rural settlements with a population over 5000 in the backward district of Kalahandi. It is located at the tri-junction of Kalahandi, Balangir and Kandhamal districts of Orissa. Since the British period, Risida has developed as a business and educational centre serving to the peripheral areas of these districts. This place has the educational institutes of +2 and Degree Colleges, Boys and Girls high schools, hospital, Police Post, telephone exchange, bank, Bus Stand and more than 100 shops and also marketing complexes. Risida has developed into a Growth Point in the district of Kalahandi. This place has a weekly hat(Saturday) which gathers about 42, 000 people on Saturday. It is located at remote north-east corner of Kalahandi. Risida serves to the nearby locality of about 55,000 population of Kalahandi and Balangir districts, for a radius of about 20 kilometres.

The youth of today is capable of doing many impossible things in an undreamt way. Especially the youths who are conversant with the ideology of Mother and Sri Aurobindo are always adventurous, courageous, never feel to be defeated. Life is not only a challenge to them but adds many more expressions to their living. They wish to fulfill life, see life, feel life, and express life in various creative ways. After all life is an opportunity given to us, to express the Divine and manifest the beauty.

WHEN THE YOUTHS FROM ALL OVER INDIA WOULD LIKE TO MEET IN A PLACE, Risida (Kalahandi dist, odisha) AND UNDOUBTEDLY BRING ABOUT NEWER WAYS AND NEWER METHODS IN REDISCOVERING OURSELVES. ODDS WILL BE AGAINST US BUT WE SHALL MARCH ON.

WE WILL BE THE CAPTAIN OF OUR OWN SOULS, WE WILL SAIL AGAINST ALL WINDS, WE WILL FATHOM THE DEPTHS OF OUR OCEAN OF IGNORANCE.

O! DIVINE TRUTH. COME! GUIDE US. REVEAL YOURSELF. FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE ENTIRE WORLD. LET US BE YOUR TRUE AND SINCERE INSTRUMENTS, O! MOTHER, SWEET MOTHER, OUR BELOVED MOTHER.
